Community Service Projects

The City of Mosinee operates on limited resources, including staff resources and financial resources. Our tight budget constraints and limited staff often preclude us from engaging in much needed community service projects. In addition, there are many community service projects that our city staff does not become aware of until they learn of them from people in the community. Further, there are groups and individuals in and around our community that are interested in finding ways to become more involved in our community and make a it a better place. Finally, there are numerous resources in and around our community – bankers, lawyers, contractors, electricians, landscapers, educators, and so on. The purpose of this database is to create awareness of community service projects in need of assistance in our community. While the City may not have the resources in terms of time and money to engage in many of these projects, our hope is that this database of ideas will be a starting point for those in our community who would like to see more by serving as a connection between the idea and the resource. This database is not intended for ordinance violation complaints. It is the City’s responsibility to address those complaints and it attempts to do so in a timely fashion. Those complaints should be submitted to the City or through our See-Click-Fix program and they will be addressed by our Code Enforcement Officer. If you have a community service project idea, please consider filling out the submittal form. Our staff will publish your project on our website and advertise it on Facebook. If City staff is aware of resources that may assist you in accomplishing your project it will advise you.
